Doublet Front.

The doublet has still not been attached to the interlining and the lining but the outer fabric has been slashed. There are three outer layers that make up the "fashion" layer. Two layers of silk satin, one red and one black, are slashed and pinked together, and layed over a third layer of red silk tafeta.
