This is only my second blackwork project and I am rather proud of it. The design is worked in stem stich and the fill patterns are worked in double running/Holbein stich. More pictures will follow as I continue to work on it as will the proper documentation.

Detail of one of the roses after it has been filled.

Back of finished coif. The coif has been hand hemmed before attaching the lining so that the lining may be removed and replaced to preserve the life of the coif.
